How do bottle filling machines work？
Use a PLC-controlled rotary filling machine for filling.
The bottle is driven by the filling machine turntable to rotate around the main vertical axis for continuous filling.
This machine is mainly composed of fluid transportation (i.e. feeding system), container transportation (i.e. bottle supply system), filling valve, large turntable, transmission
System, body, automatic control and other parts.
Filling method of filling machine:
(1) Atmospheric pressure method
Atmospheric pressure method is also called pure gravity method, that is, under normal pressure, the liquid material flows into the packaging container by its own weight. Most can flow freely
Movable non-gas liquid materials can be filled with this method, such as white wine, fruit wine, milk, soy sauce, vinegar, etc.
(2) Equal pressure method
The equal pressure method is also called the pressure gravity filling method, that is, under the condition of higher than atmospheric pressure, the packaging container is first inflated to form an air pressure equal to that in the liquid storage tank, and then the material to be filled flows in by its own weight Inside the packaging container. This method is universal. It is used for filling carbonated beverages, such as beer, soda, sparkling wine, etc. Using this method of filling can reduce the loss of CO2 contained in such products and prevent excessive foaming during the filling process, which affects product quality and quantitative accuracy.
(3) Vacuum method
The vacuum method is used for filling under the condition of lower than atmospheric pressure, which can be carried out in two ways,
(a) Differential pressure vacuum type
That is, the liquid storage tank is under normal pressure, and only the packaging container is evacuated to form a vacuum. The liquid material depends on the storage tank and the container to be filled.
The effect of the differential pressure of the gas to produce flow to complete the filling, this method is more commonly used in China.
(b) Gravity vacuum type
That is, the liquid storage tank is in a vacuum, and the packaging container is first evacuated to form a vacuum equal to that in the liquid storage tank, and then the liquid material flows into the packaging container by its own weight. Because of the complicated structure, it is less used in China. Vacuum filling has a wide range of applications, and it is suitable for filling liquid materials with higher viscosity, such as oils and syrups. It is also suitable for filling liquid materials containing vitamins, such as vegetable juice, fruit juice, etc. The formation of a vacuum in the bottle means that the contact between the liquid material and air is reduced, and the shelf life of the product is extended. The vacuum method is also suitable for filling poisonous Materials, such as pesticides, to reduce toxic gas spills and improve working conditions.
(4) Pressure method.
Use mechanical pressure or air pressure to squeeze the material to be filled into the packaging container. This method is mainly used for filling thick materials with high viscosity, such as filling tomato sauce, minced meat, toothpaste, balsam, etc. Sometimes it can also be used for filling soft drinks such as soda. At this time, the air pressure of the soda is directly poured into the unfilled isobaric bottle, thereby increasing the filling speed. The foam formed is easy to disappear because there is no colloid in the soda. Has a certain impact on filling quality.
